PRODUCTS BY FINE PAINTS OF EUROPE
Eurolux
Sheens: Matte, Satin, Gloss
Product: We have yet to find any product that covers in so few coats. Fine Paints of Europe's "Eurolux" product is their interior-latex line. If you paint your walls with Eurolux, even with their matte finish, you can DEFINITELY be assured that your walls have just been covered with some of the most durable and washable paint there is. It's low VOC and virtually zero odor.
Sizes: Sample Pots, 1 Liters (which is very similar in size to a quart; if anything, it's slightly larger), 2.5 Liter Gallons
Eco
Sheens: Satin, Brilliant
Product: Do you need to paint your cabinets or trim work or front door with some of the most durable, washable, and glossiest (if desired) paint on the market but you don't want the trouble of using an oil product? Look no further than Fine Paints of Europe's "Eco." Eco is a water-reducable alkyd. This means that the product hardens like an oil (is really smooth, shows little to zero brush strokes, and is super durable) yet the base of the entire paint is water. So, it's soap and water clean up, low VOC, and low odor. All of the benefits of an oil but in a water based, easy to use, low VOC/odor product. Keep in mind that white colors can yellow just slightly over time because of the little amounts of oil in it.
Sizes: 1 Liter (which is slightly larger than a quart), 2.5 Liter Gallons
Matte Oil
Sheens: Dead flat
Product: It is very hard to find an oil product that has ZERO sheen to it. The "Matte Oil" by Fine Paints of Europe is a dead-flat (even though it does say "matte" in its name). This product is stunningly easy to use (unlike many oil products). Being a dead-flat sheen, this product is recommend for ceilings and very low traffic areas because, being a dead-flat, this product IS NOT washable.
Sizes: 1 Liter (which is very similar in size to a quart. If anything, it's slightly larger), 2.5 Liter Gallons
Hollandlac
Sheens: Satin, Brilliant
Product: The king of oils.
The legendary Hollandlac has made its fair share of changes in
names. First it was Hascolac. Then it was Dutchlac. Now it’s Hollandlac, but its quality hasn’t
changed much. (If anything, the quality has actually improved over the years as the Dutch brand “Schreuder” turned into
“Fine Paints of Europe.") Yep, if you
want the most durable oil product you can find, here’s the master. SO thick,
SO smooth, SO glossy (if wanted; it can
be satin as well) and really sends you back in time when oil used to be "the thing" to use for any and all surfaces.
Sizes: 0.75 liter, 1 liter (which is slightly bigger than a quart), 2.5 Liter Gallon
