California Paint

Most of the brands that we showcase are quality interior and exterior products (although we focus mainly on the interior products).  With California Paints, however, we would like to mainly showcase their exterior products.  California has good quality interior paints (like Super Scrub, Fres~Coat UNITE, and Ultraplate), but there exterior products are what really take California out of the "Big Box Store Quality" list and into the "Mid-Grade Products" list.

PRODUCTS BY CALIFORNIA PAINT

2010 House Paint

Sheen:  Velvet Flat, Eggshell, Satin

Product:  Here's the key to this product:  It is really thick.  It applies buttery and powerfully which makes this paint not only longer lasting, but much more forgiving and easier to use.  Even in their satin finish, you will notice a significant thickness to the paint (which is rare for exterior satin finishes that tend to be on the thinner side of consistency).  2010 House Paint puts California in a "hard-to-beat" standpoint and does actually match pretty closely to some products in the "Finest Quality Brands" list.

Sizes:  Quarts, Gallons, 5 Gallons

Fres~Coat

Sheen: Velvet Flat, Low Luster, Satin

Product:  Fres-Coat (yes, it is Fres-Coat and not Fresh-Coat) produces a thick and long lasting layer to your home.  It isn't quite as good as the 2010 House Paint product, but it still is a very good product and is mildew and fume resistant.

Sizes:  Quarts, Gallons, 5 Gallons

Pacific

Sheen: Flat, Low Luster, Satin

Product: This product is, of the three, the lowest priced product.  It still is a good product and is still mildew and fume resistant.

Sizes:  Quarts, Gallons, 5 Gallons
